ECDL Advanced is our Level 3 ITQ Certificate in IT User skills.

The aim of the qualification is to recognise the application of a range of IT user skills and knowledge in the workplace, meeting employer workforce demands. Learners typically register for one unit at a time, completing their studies in "bite-size chunks".

Although ECDL Advanced is a fixed combination qualification, the achievement can be used as credit transfer towards a flexible level 3 ITQ diploma.

The structure for the qualification is below:

• Word Processing
• Spreadsheets
• Databases
• Presentations
• Improving Productivity Using IT

Should the learner complete the following 4 Advanced modules (Word Processing, Spreadsheet Software, Presentation Software, Databases) they can apply for an additional 'ECDL Expert' certificate. Each module should require around 40 hours of study.
