BCS Canada Section

CN Tower in Toronto

BCS Canada is one of a growing number of overseas sections of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

What we do

We serve the BCS membership in Canada.
We inform our members, and the general IT community, of our activities, events and points of interest through BCS Canada social media channels and event webcasts.

We strive to provide services and facilities which are of interest to our members and allow them to stay connected and engaged in Information Technology matters, across a broad industry, social and societal spectrum.

We support the BCS vision and mission by providing personal development and networking events for members and prospective members.

Our aim is to maintain an industry presence through an annual information technology lecture series, aligned to topical themes and industry sectors. We hold our lectures in various locations in downtown Toronto, accessible by public transportation.

These are semi-formal events, held within an environment that encourages a shared learning experience, discussion, debate and professional networking. We typically have five lectures a year, plus our AGM.
