Timings:
Saturday 26 September at 2.00pm and Wednesday 30 September at 7.30pm. The visit will last between 45 and 90 minutes depending on the number of questions!

Synopsis:
We have arranged two visits to the Highways Agency's ultra-modern Regional Control Centre at Godstone, near junction 6 of the M25. The centre operates 24 by 7 and covers the southern section of the M25 (from Junction 1 to 15) as well as the M2, M20, M23, M3, M27, M271 and M275 and includes certain parts of the Agency's Trunk Roads: A2, A21, A3, A27 to mention a few. Applying this to Counties: Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. To assist the Operators they have access to just over 120 CCTV cameras and can swiftly monitor the progress of incidents and display appropriate  warning signs to motorists approaching the affected area. Visitors will be given a good overview of the control centre and how the technology is used.
 
Numbers are strictly limited and places must be reserved. Notice must be given by 14th September.
