Staffordshire University is one of largest employers in the area with over 17000 staff across four sites all with IT access. With an infrastructure of over 200 servers, creating and managing accounts across systems needs to be a fast, reliable and secure process. This talk outlines the challenges of implementation Microsoft Forefront identity management at Staffordshire University to automate account creation across a range of sytems including Active Directory, Exchange, Oracle Financials, Door access, Printer acounting.
