Abstract:

This is a joint event with the IET.

Testing is always a challenge but with a real-time safety-critical system there are two challenges that are not found in most systems.

1. It is real-time and
2. It is safety-critical

On its own, either one is a challenge but combining, the problems multiply. So how do you make sure the system is safe and works correctly without killing or injuring someone in the process? And how do you make sure these systems have correctly in situtations that you have not thought of?
