Synopsis:

If you have to manage multiple suppliers, particularly where your business services rely on services from different suppliers, then Service Integration and Management (SIAM) could be just what you need. In the last few years SIAM has emerged as a new discipline in ITSM, but there is very little published best practice. Many vendors are promoting their SIAM services, promising to improve the delivery of your IT services. However, unless you understand just what SIAM is and what it isn't, you might end up spending money when you didn't need to. This presentation will help you understand what SIAM is, explain the differences and similarities with ITIL service management, give you practical advice based on experience, and describe a working model. Attending this session will help you make the right decisions about service integration and management, how to do it, and who should do it.
