Synopsis:

Lean IT is derived from the Toyota Production System methodology and has been successfully appplied in many industries across the world.  This session is my experience of using ITIL coupled with lean to focus IT Service and Operations back on the customer with provable value-oriented results.  We will explore what lean is and then ask you to help me create one (and maybe 2) lean success stories from common experiences we all have and share daily within our Operations, Service Delivery and Service Management roles.  This will be an interactive session using high tech; aka Post-IT notes!!

Daniel Breston

Daniel Breston is an IT Service and Operations Management ex-director for large financial services organisations now a consultant, coach, advisor and speaker in the US, UK and EU.  Daniel has been in IT for many (some would argue too long) years.  Daniel is certified ITILv3 Expert and ex-examiner plus Business Continuity in IT, and over the last 3 years using Lean and DevOPS to enhance the image of IT teams within their company or externally to the customer.  Oh and he is also a Texan!
