Synopsis:

This free presentation is organised by the Institute of Telecommunications Professionals (ITP) and BCS Manchester Branch. The talk starts at 11.30am with registration open from 11am.

The ITP and BCS would like to invite you, family and friends to this years annual Christmas Family Event called ‘From Facebook Friends to Postman Pat: Understanding our Connected World’.

This year we look forward to welcoming Dr Matt Pritchard who combines his passion for teaching maths and science with his love of magic and stand up comedy.

Before becoming a full time creative communicator, he conducted atomic physics research with stupidly powerful lasers at Durham University.

He is an associate of the Inner Magic Circle. his presentations have scooped prizes for the best stand up comedy show at Buxton Fringe Festival and The Institute of Physics’ postgraduate lecturer award.

Cost to ITP & BCS members & their families- FREE.
