From 15:15-16:00, the BCS ELITE roundtable session has as its theme "Valuing IT":

The CIO can no longer afford to invest in any IT capability that is not certain to meet the organisation’s needs. With timely technological capability enhancements key to early innovation, increased profitability and prolonged sustainability, leadership in navigating the technological and management risks that face the organisation are the distinguishing features of the successful CIO.

Whether the decision is to cloud or not to cloud, to invest in research and development, or to take the next step in radical innovation, the CIO's influence over the future of the organisation is growing. In this session, listen to, examine and challenge the thinking of three senior IT Leaders who understand the trade-offs involved in making tough IT decisions.
