Synopsis:

An attempt to temper @glynwintle's natural aptitude for scaring people with security flaws by drawing tips from him on how to actually deal with them. Devised by @sheilaellen and inspired by Peter Anspach's Evil Overlord Top 100, this is a collection of simple tips for securing computer systems that are often forgotten or overlooked yet have that red-button-of-doom potential.

Speaker:

Glyn Wintle, Open Rights Group. Glyn does a range of things including programming, security and working with the Open Rights Group to help "convince MPs not to do some of the more stupid ideas they have that would kill the internet." Sheila is a consultant specialising in XML technologies and Java and a fan of modern space opera.
