Synopsis:

Software defined datacenters are the next big thing in datacenter deployment and management, but what are they?

What happens to the entire physical infrastructure? How do we manage them? What design implications do they have and how should we plan them into our roadmaps?

From an operational perspective, how do we manage and track our configuration?

Mike Thomas product director at EMC will help us to get past the hype and provide his insight into all the above, plus more.

This will be an interactive presentation with customary CMSG hospitality to aid networking.

Mike has over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry and is currently working in the Advanced Software Division at EMC. His last 4 years have been focused in the areas of automation, cloud and software defined storage.
