There is more to project standards than PRINCE2! Miles will survey ISO project related standards, how standards are developed and how BCS (and individuals) can contribute. He will also cover the current state of play concerning ISO 21500 Guidelines for Project Management and look ahead to plans for further International Standards on the management of multiple projects.

About the Speaker:

Miles Shepherd is a former Chairman of the Association for Project Management and past President and Chairman of IPMA. He is currently a leading member of the IPMA Research Management Board and Hon Senior Research Fellow at University College London and a Visiting Professor at Bournemouth, Leeds and Manchester universities.

Miles is currently involved with the work of The International Standards Organization (ISO) in reviewing project management standards or 'bodies of knowledge' (BoKs).
