Microsoft Project - Half Day Seminar

Thank you to all those PROMS-G members who completed the events survey in May 2011. This half day seminar on Microsoft Project is in response to the high demand for this event. The afternoon seminar will focus on Microsoft Project Server and other editions. It will start with an evaluation of Microsoft Project Server's position in the marketplace and a functional comparison against other products. There will be a look at how it handles key project management processes, followed by a live demonstration. Christopher Pond, a very experienced Microsoft Project Consultant, will then give some advice and guidance on approaches to implementation.

About the Speaker:

Christopher Pond, New Business Manager at CPS has been working with organisations to improve their project management capabilities for over thirteen years. During this time he has helped companies deploy collaborative work management solutions embracing people, process, technology and strategy. By expertly utilising Microsoft Project Server, SharePoint, Visio and Office 365, Chris can deliver visibility across an organisations and aid decision making through the timely delivery of relevant, up-to-date information.

During the past seven years at CPS, Chris has been supporting companies through the decision making process by aligning their organisation to flexible, future-proof solutions that are built on the Microsoft technology stack. Before this Chris worked as a Senior EPM consultant with Advanced Management Solutions delivering Enterprise Project Management Solutions with the Advanced Management Solutions (AMS) REALTIME product suite. Chris has worked across various industry sectors including Oil and Gas, IT Ops, Finance, Charitable and Local and Central Government.

Chris is currently the UK's only Project Server specific Virtual Technology Solutions Professional (VTSP), assisting Microsoft UK with his knowledge and experience of EPM and SharePoint.
