When did "Business Intelligence" begin and what's the difference between BI, MI and Analytics? Do you know who the main players in the market are? What's the "Next Big Thing" in the analytics space? This, any many other questions will be posed, and hopefully addressed, as part of this presentation.

Gary Nuttall has spent most of his professional career working in the World of Information Delivery and has used a range of BI tools, techniques and methods to successfully deploy BI and Analytics in a number of industries.

As a #Fintech enthusiast who runs the Meetup Mashup Groupin London he's fascinated by the accelerating pace of data collection resulting from the exponential growth of data generating devices and systems. How will systems handle this impending Tsunami of data and enable organisations use it to their advantage? Gary will offer his thoughts in what is hoped will lead to an interesting and stimulating event.

Gary has 20 years of solid commercial experience in a variety of IT roles in the CPG/FMCG, Commodities Trading, Pharmaceuticals, Retailing and Insurance industries.

Demonstrable competence in all stages of the product and project life cycle from project initiation, scoping, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, training and support.

Technical knowledge includes design, development and deployment of Business Intelligence solutions using RDBMS, Data Warehousing and OLAP.

Gary is the immediate past Chair and a Committee Member of the Business Information Systems Specialist Group.

His specialties are: Project Management, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
