An event for women working in High Performance Computing (HPC), providing guidance on training, information on grants and mentoring and networking sessions.

The WHPC network http://www.womeninhpc.org.uk/ aims to build a community of female high performance computing. Together, scientists, technicians, researchers, users and academics collaborate, share knowledge, mentor, to address the poor representation of women in the subject and achieve equal representation for all in HPC

Or do you work in HPC already and want to see what other roles are possible for you. Join us for this fascinating event where we unlock the mysteries of “supercomputing”. Hear first hand from our industry speakers how businesses and industry are harnessing these great advances in High Performance Computing to bring you the latest in medium range weather forecasts and other services. Come along, meet new people and talk to our experts and be inspired to consider a career in this fast growing industry of High Performance Computing.

  • 11.10am Panel session with Q&A. All speakers on the panel, plus a person knowledgeable on grants etc.
  • 12:00pm - 1.00pm Speed networking/mentoring session.
  • 1.02pm - 2.00pm Lunch including time to network
