Speaker: Markus Dugdale - Pathfinding: A*, NavMesh or Anti-NavMesh

Markus is a freelance game developer and team leader, who has worked on various projects as lead developer. He has extensive experience in developing AI engines and Pathfinding algorithms within various game engines. His talk will go through various current approaches to pathfinding in the industry and evaluate them against more unconventional algorithms and novel possible solutions for improvements and optimisation approaches.

University of Greenwich in partnership with BCS Animation and Games Development SG presents a series of guest seminars from both academics and experts from the industry in the subject of Games and Digital Media.
