Presenter: Debra Paul

Decisions form a fundamental part of all of our personal and professional lives although sometimes, deciding to make a decision can be as difficult as actually doing so. However, those of us who work within the business change domain regularly encounter situations where we not only need to make decisions but have to make them in the right timeframe. Further, we may need to influence the decisions made by others, often where there is the potential for significant impact. In this session, Debbie Paul explores the nature of decision-making including why we make, or fail to make, decisions, an approach to thinking through decisions and how we might influence stakeholders to make effective decisions. Debbie will present an interactive session which will include reflections on decisions she has been required to make during her career, in particular in her role as Managing Director of AssistKD.
