In this interactive session, we take a critical look at one of the hottest topics in IT management at present - DevOps! In fact, we will be putting DevOps on trial with Daniel Breston (Ranger4) putting the case for the defence and Duncan Watkins (Realising Value) putting the case for the prosecution.

Anyone who has been exposed to DevOps will understand how it answers some of the key issues facing IT and Business leaders at present. However, if it is so good at solving their problems why has it not:

  1. Been widely adopted across all organisations.
  2. Led to an increase in companies that are technologically Agile from End-to-End?

In fact, could it be that all it has produced is another supposedly silver bullet that has simply confused business and IT leaders, and created training courses that repeat a lot of what we’ve already learnt?

Both Daniel and Duncan will have a special guest as their supporting solicitor and most importantly YOU, the audience will be the jury.

Please join us for an exciting final BCS SMSG event for 2016 with food and refreshments on hand.

Overseas delegates, please note, BCS will not provide 'letters of invitation'.
