What is "vulnerability management" and why is it important to your business? Do you actually need it?

In this introductory and interactive event, we provide you with an insight into the world of vulnerability management, answering these questions and a few more to boot. Throughout the evening, our presenters will look at a typical vulnerability management scenario, introducing the methodologies and tools that can be used to achieve a well-structured vulnerability management programme.

This event is being held jointly with the BCS Young Professionals Information Security Group.

Speakers

Jonathan Haddock has worked in the IT industry since he was a secondary school student, and has held a number of roles in his adult career. Recently, Jonathan has been giving talks at UK universities to help others get into this fast moving industry. Currently working in local government as a Network and security engineer, Jonathan has a broad range of skills and experience to share.

Sarith Chandra is a Vetted Information Security Leader with a well-rounded skill-set. his cross-domain work experience spans more than a decade in various verticals with local, outsourced and global matrix teams. He believes in Security being a business-enabler, and takes a risk based and pragmatic view of security in the organizations he has worked with.
