Your organisation is a complex solution to a tangled set of problems. Each step into your organisation’s future puts your understanding of past solutions and future problems to the test. Even if you already have the gift of being able to blend them together, organisational problem solving is still one of the most challenging things an ELITE member can do.

Jon Hall will present his novel problem solving methods, developed as part of his research into complex problem solving, as they apply to the organisation. There’ll be audience participation, too, in problem charades, distributed knitting and other games and puzzles that shine a light on complex problem solving.

Jon Hall is @thinkaholic_me. His vision is 'Engineering Everywhere’; his mission, 'to deliver engineering value by the application of new tangled-problem solving methods’. His research has figured in problem solving for change management, silo busting, IT alignment, financial engineering, and the reengineering of safety critical processes with organisations such as Siemens, OSRAM, General Dynamics UK, Bank of America, Greenpeace, UN Food and Agriculture Organisation, and others. He is Immediate Past Chair of BCS ELITE, The Computing Leadership Forum, and is FBCS CITP. Jon is married to Lucia, and they solve problems together.
