Overview

After an incredible launch in 2015, the symposium on Forensics in Defence and Security is to return in 2016. Hosted by the Defence Academy of the UK on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th September 2016 at Shrivenham. The event is organized and run by Symposia at Shrivenham on behalf of the Cranfield Forensics Institute, in a relaxed atmosphere within secure surroundings with lunches and refreshments included. An evening networking reception will be held on the 14th, following its success last year. Over 200 delegates attended the inaugural event from the US, Australia, Europe and from key organizations such as the FBI, DoD, Home Office, Police forces and MoD. Both the Chartered Society of Forensic Science and the Emergency Planning society of the UK offered their professional support. This year in addition to them we hope to engage with the digital forensics and OSINT community.
