Event Overview:

Supported by BAFTA Cymru and Games Wales (North), the event is aimed at giving new company start-ups, SMEs, recent graduates and current students some insight into the various elements of the games industry and related technology through a series of lectures delivered by industry representatives.

The guest speakers range from single-person developers to indie & mobile companies through to AAA studios.

The event will close with an open Q&A session focussing on CV and Interviews tips along with advice on getting into the industry.

Some questions/topics may include:

  • What would be the thing(s) you personally would look for to distinguish a candidate?
  • Putting together memos and show reels
  • Worst interview experiences - i.e. what not to do
