Abstract

The Open Web Application Security Project is a worldwide organization focused on improving the security of software. Our mission is to make software security visible, so that individuals and organizations worldwide can make informed decisions about true software security risks. This event will mark the start of OWASP in Sheffield with a line-up of top speakers in this field. They will deliver fresh material covering a range of very interesting areas in Web Application Security. Audience from technical and non-technical backgrounds, including students and IT professionals, will enjoy this experience.

Software security is something that our members are very interested in and having an opportunity to reach out to our wider tech community and bring you amazing event is a plus.

Networking and Refreshments start at 17:00, with the first set of speakers starting at 18:00, then a 10 minute breakt at 19:00 followed by the second batch of speakers, a panel, and Q/A with expecting closing at 20:00. Talks will be abour 20 minutes long.
