Advancements in technology are having a profound effect on all businesses regardless of their size or industry and the major effect of this is on marketing due to the massive popularity of new communication platforms such as social media, instant chat, text messaging and geo location services. So what do businesses and individuals need to understand in order to survive in this world of changing markets and communication channels and what does the future hold? Is Data really the New Oil?
