Movie Making on a Shoestring

Date/Time:
Tuesday 12 April 2016, 6.30pm - 10.00pm

Venue:
Function Room, One Park Lane, 280 Simcoe Street, Toronto, Ontario

Cost:
No entrance fee required, everyone welcome

Speaker:
Andrew Wright, Film Director

Details:

For our third event in our IT in Entertainment series we are fortunate to have Andrew Wright - Director and good friend presenting.

Andrew will detail how he realised a life-long dream to turn a screen-play written several years ago into a fully fledged movie. Toronto has gifted the right environment for movie making - the resources, locations, actors and production crew and all without breaking the bank. With today's technology, the right skill set, dedication and time you can achieve results that just a few years ago were only possible with the backing of a studio.

Don't just take my word for it, you can check out the project through a series of webisodes. Please come along for what will no doubt be a thought provoking talk on what goes into making a movie for little dime. As always complimentary drinks and nibbles will be served.

Note we will need attendee’s full names ahead of time for concierge security, invite colleagues & friends through this fb event please.

Thank you for your support and looking forward to seeing you all.
