Sir Tim and BCS

I had the privilege of interviewing Sir Tim Berners-Lee again last month.

This time we videoed it - so Justin and myself went to Boston, specifically the William H Gates building at MIT, to do the recording. (Plus we managed a bit of sightseeing - did a whale watch, had a pint in Cheers, visited the Holocaust Memorial - a pretty varied visit...).

Sir Tim answered some questions that came in via Twitter - notably one on the emergence of artificial life on the internet. I didn't think he'd answer it, but he did - check out the video here: http://www.bcs.org/video/tbl

Recently there was a lot of coverage of Sir Tim around 'finally coming clean about the double backslash'. The Times didn't stop much short of calling this an exclusive. http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/tech_and_web/article6872873.ece

Just for the record Sir Tim mentioned it to me about three year's earlier... http://www.bcs.org/server.php?show=ConWebDoc.3337

Not that I'm bitter.
