Details reposted on behalf of the CyberSecurity Challenge UK.
As you may be aware, the Challenge has launched a brand new competition at the end of April 2012 (entries close 22 June) in collaboration with BT and Get Safe Online. The competition is the first non-technical Challenge and asks candidates design a nationwide awareness campaign to help keep UK SMEs safe from cyber-crime.
The competition aims to identify people with the creative communication skills in high demand by the cyber security profession.
To help drive up entries to this competition, the Challenge is calling on its sponsors to help spread the message through their own communities. This could be through:
- Retweeting Challenge tweets around the launch of the competition to your own followers
- Posting a link to the story on your company’s Facebook page / linked in groups
- Posting up the announcement as a news story on your website
- Including the news story in any mail-outs / e-newsletters you produce
There is lots of information that can provided on the competition which can be used for these communications.
