An overview of the Government backed Cyber Essentials scheme and the award winning IASME Governance which includes an assessment against GDPR.

IASME is one of 5 Accreditation Bodies appointed by Government to deliver their Cyber Essentials scheme. Chris Pinder, Business Development Manager, with The IASME Consortium will provide the background to the schemes together with details of how they can help you gain and retain business opportunities.

Layer 7 IT provide a comprehensive range of security services and are an IASME licensed Certification Body. Dr. Chris Tait, MD, Layer 7, will provide a first hand view of his experiences and conclusions from conducting the assessments.

Speaker Profile: Chris Pinder

Chris has had wide experience of the private security industry for over 20
years. He has previously worked for the security industry trade body and for the leading industry inspectorate. For the last three years, Chris’s experience of the security sector has extended to specialising in cyber security. He was security sector lead for the local Growth Hub and is now Business Development Manager for The IASME Consortium. IASME is one of just five accreditation bodies appointed by government for their Cyber Essentials scheme.
