Summary:
Aspect Orientation is an exciting new development in software engineering that builds on and extends the concepts of object orientation. This talk will introduce the ideas behind aspect orientation, and the kind of problems it can solve.

With a dedicated special edition of the CACM, and numerous articles in the software development press, aspect orientation is now beginning the transition from research to commercial application. This talk will highlight the main tools and techniques in use.
