Keith Taylor is a senior product planner at IBM Hursley, but separately has a keen interest in photography, and is a member of Winchester Photographic Society.

This talk includes some basic photographic principles, trends in digital cameras, image sensing and processing, and a comparison with film.

It includes demonstrations of different types of digital camera. He will discuss Camera basics, Computer Advances in Cameras, Image sensors, Image storage, and Image Quality, definition and colour balance. It also covers image manipulation on a computer. This talk and demonstration is suitable for both computer people and others.
