Father of the web to speak in Oxford

Spider Webs Sir Tim Berners-Lee, director of the World Wide Web Consortium, will give a talk on new challenges and his hopes for web-link systems on the net in Oxford on 14 March.

The event is being organized by the e-Horizons Institute. Places are free of charge and open to the public, availability permitting, but must be reserved in advance.

The lecture will be held from 5-6pm and be followed by refreshments.

If you cannot make this event, there will be another chance to hear Sir Berners-Lee speak at the conference www2006 in Edinburgh on 23-26 May.
