Description:
Open source has attracted increased attention over recent years with promises of cheaper deployment and freedom from the major software houses.

In this debate, committee members, David England and Bill Douglas, will present the case for and against Open Source. The debate will then be opened to the floor. Members who cannot attend are invited to submit their views and questions by email.
