For its latest guest lecture, the Merseyside Branch of the BCS is delighted to welcome Andrew Hampson of Unilever Europe IT. Andrew has considerable experience of outsourcing IT operations to India and he will cover outsourcing management, global team-work and the impact of the Indian economy, drawing upon practical operational examples.

Unilever is a major international company, although its numerous products like Marmite, Walls ice-cream, and Surf laundry powder are probably better known. Unilever is a major user of IT, and an important employer on Merseyside and in North Wales.

Subject to available places this presentation is open to both BCS members and non-members.
