Description:
For its latest guest lecture, the Merseyside Branch of the BCS is delighted to welcome Andrew Wilson. Andrew hopes to give a brief summary of the work of his School, a survey on the use of IT in archaeology, followed by some mini-case studies of applied IT in archaeology both in the UK and overseas.

Andrew will mention some technical aspects such as field computing and the use of computer rendering for habitat reconstructions. This presentation is open to BCS members. Non-members are normally welcome provided we have sufficient facilities.

An essential event for anyone interested in archaeology and the role of IT.
