Top presentations to win networking cruise

14 March 2006

Shoal of Fish ProNetworking, the latest event series to be organized by the BCS Young Professionals Group (YPG), will be launched on 4 May in London.

To celebrate its inauguration, YPG members are being offered the chance to attend The IT Directors' Forum 2006 (ITDF).

To qualify for a place at the ITDF, competitors will have to deliver a short presentation on a subject of their choice at the premier ProNetworking. Delegates at that event will have the opportunity to hear the finalists' presentations.

The aim of the ProNetworking events is to provide an environment which is conducive to networking for IT professionals aged around 18-35. Short presentations will be delivered by experienced professionals, who will share their top tips for career success and first-hand experience of how their career paths were shaped.

Those who qualify to attend the ITDF will spend three days on the cruise liner, MV Oriana, with IT directors from many of the top global companies. The forum provides the opportunity to network with IT directors and industry specialists who gather once a year to discuss day-to-day business challenges and to set their IT agenda for the year ahead.
