BCS USA Section holds regional meeting at IT Conference

WILLINGBORO, N.J. May 1st, 2008. The British Computer Society USA Section, held its Central Regional Meeting yesterday, 30 April 2008, at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, in conjunction with the Interop Conference.

This meeting was the third regional meeting in the series, after meetings held in Dallas and in San Francisco.

Attendees included both BCS Members and guests from the United States, Canada, China, India and Spain.

"This was excellent!" said Rav Satyaketu, Consulting Partner at EBSL. "It is great t see the BCS active here in the United States, brining value to the IT community here, as well as to BCS Members."

Norbert Kubilus was the local host for the event, being a Las Vegas-based BCS Member. "It was a delightful evening and a Brilliant idea to align it with an industry event. It was good to have an opportunity to meet other BCS colleagues – many of whom I’ve only known from e-mails."

The BCS USA Section will be hosting its next event to coincide with Computer Technology Expo 2008 in Atlantic City on 22 July 2008.
