Presentation Details:
A presentation introducing the newly launched Ordnance Survey Leisure getamap application, with product demonstration and technical discussions around the different aspects of the development project including OS mapping, Silverlight, and third party data interfaces to be held in the new Ordnance Survey building at Adanac Drive.
 
Speaker 1: Lee Newton (B2C Digital Channel Manager)
Overseeing the Ordnance Survey Leisure marketing, content creation and e-commerce functions to achieve the sales and profit targets for the consumer portal. Creating the strategies to drive visitor numbers and increase awareness of the portal to the target market, whilst deploying regular enhancements to the getamap application inline with user expectations. Lee’s previous experience includes; E-Business Manager for Pfizer, Online Project Manager for Vertu (Nokia) and Marketing Strategy Manager for a digital agency.
 
Speaker 2: Andrew Radcliffe MBCS CITP (Consultant Technical Project Manager)
Overseeing the technical implementation of the leisure portal including getamap Silverlight application, eCommerce shop, and magazine for Ordnance Survey Leisure. Working as a freelance consultant, Andrew’s previous experience includes; Software Lead / Payload Test System Manager for EADS Astrium; Technical Project Manager for Marks & Clerk; Head of UK Consulting for Pythagoras International Ltd; and numerous Project Manager and Software Development Manager positions for Siemens, Marconi, and GEC.
