Joint event with Southampton Solent University.

This one day practical, laboratory based training course has been arranged thanks to Southampton Solent University, given by Dr Nick Whitelegg. As numbers are restricted, applications should be made to nick.whitelegg@solent.ac.uk indicating the course name, your relevant knowledge and experience, and if you are currently employed - preference would be given to those 'under-employed', such as due to redundancy, lack of contracts etc.

Nick Whitelegg is a senior lecturer in Computing (Web Development) at Southampton Solent University and teaches on a range of undergraduate software development courses including Java and web development. He has contributed software and data to the OpenStreetMap mapping project and has developed an open source mapping site and associated tools for walkers.
