With the launch of the Strategy for Data Capability by Ministers last week, the government is recognising the criticality of data and its supporting infrastructure for our growing information economy, but how green will a Digital Britain be? And how much progress is the government making with its own greening government ICT strategy and its contribution to wider government sustainability targets - do come along, listen to Bob who as Defra's lead for Green ICT and Innovation is in the thick of this, discuss and debate these important issues on 7th November.

Bob Crooks will draw on his extensive work in this area as Chair of the BCS Green IT Specialist Group as well as being the Green ICT lead for Defra and a key player on the Cabinet Office’s Green IT delivery Unit that has published the UK’s Greening Government ICT strateg.
