Synopsis:

Securing the cloud - how to achieve total protection in changing cloud environments

Steven Harrison, Exponential-e
Exponential-e's Lead Technologist and Head of Products and Development, has been instrumental in delivering the Exponential-e go to market strategy for private cloud based computing, storage, backup, disaster recovery, voice and unified communications products. With a global career in engineering and software development - spanning over 20 years - Steven joined Exponential-e in January 2014. He describes himself as a natural born technologist and cites one of his greatest achievements as bringing carrier Ethernet VPLS and fibre-to-the-business to the Caribbean island nation of Barbados in 2009, only three years after Exponential-e's introduction of VPLS in the UK.

Andrew Deacon, Hexis Cyber Solutions
Hexis’s, Principal Security Engineer is an enthusiastic and accomplished presenter, he is a frequent spokesperson at industry and academic forums, where he focuses on building awareness and developing future threat protection strategies. Andy has a great ability to explain even the most complex technology in simple terms. He likes nothing more than to help demonstrate how simple security can be, when it is done correctly.
