Synopsis:

The presentation aims to to provide participants with an overview of how Security Architecture and Risk Management is applied in the business environment. Attendees will gain an appreciation of the value that professional disciplines of security architecture bring to the business world, and how security can be built into information systems architecture from inception to retirement and/or transformation. 

Brief of the speaker:

Adeyemi Dina, Technology & Cyber Security Architect

Adeyemi Dina is an IT consultant and enterprise security architect with over 18years industry experience gained across disparate industries & multi-national organisations - Banking, Retail, Government / Public Sector, Telecommunications, Energy and IT Service organisations. In his current role with BP PLC he serves as a Security Architect and Senior Digital security risk management consultant. He is currently the Enterprise Security Architect on BP’s strategic Big Data project delivery including its cloud deployments.  

Ade is an Inclusive leader with extensive experience of working closely with business, technology thinkers and ICT experts in delivering business value and benefits. He has led various teams in collaborating and working with business units in optimizing IT investments, enhance business decision-making, reduce corporate liability, drive bottom-line business benefit and improve customer satisfaction.

Ade holds a master’s degree in Information Security from the University of Westminster, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information security manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and holds practitioner level certifications in PRINCE2 and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) amongst others.
