Many people in organisations use Scrum as their primary Agile method. Maybe they never heard of Kanban? Maybe they don’t know how it could benefit them? Maybe coming to this meet-up is your first step to understand more.

This session is about learning the basics of Kanban by taking a look at the Principles and Practices one by one. This session is for attendees who are new to the method or for those wanting to reconfirm their knowledge.

About the speaker:

Helen Meek is an outgoing Kanban coach and trainer who is passionate about working with individuals, teams and organisations on their road to agility. Helen is a Scrum and Agile veteran having guided agile transformations in many different industries for over seven years through both Scrum and Kanban. She brings this vast wealth of experience to her training and coaching, helping others gain the benefits that agility can bring.

This presentation is particularly designed for those with experience of using Agile methods

The Agile South Coast Group meets monthly, every second Tuesday of the month, to discuss topics about the whole Agile Experience within local technical organisations and people in the Southampton / Hampshire area. They use differing Agile techniques to explore the space, and their aim is to spread the best practices and avoid the pitfalls ly applying Agile methodologies within our professional lives.
