As a BCS member there are many ways you can volunteer your time and skills to help your community or another member.

Mentoring can play a unique and valuable role in the career development of IT professionals. Gain and share experience, knowledge and support as a mentor or a mentee.

By nurturing professional development and exceptional standards, assessors are key to our industry’s success and growth. Could you fulfil this role?

Volunteer with The Turing Trust

'One man’s trash is another man’s treasure'

The Turing Trust is promoting education and training through the use of IT in sub-Saharan Africa.

They are reusing equipment donated by organisations and individuals to provide skills development opportunities, both in Africa and the UK, while reducing waste and supporting a more sustainable and environmentally friendly society.

The Trust is always keen to find volunteers to help them with their work, either in the UK collecting and processing IT equipment, online or in Africa.
