Distinguished Fellowship Award

4 May 2017

Distinguished Fellowship call for nominations.

Distinguished Fellow is the highest award made by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

It is awarded to individuals where their contribution to computing is seen in terms of major importance to the overall development of computing, with substantial personal recognition through peer review over a substantial and sustained career. This could include furthering the principles expressed in the BCS Strategy of Making IT good for society.

BCS receives nominations from a wide cross section of members and awarded Fellowships to Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho in 2016 and Simon Peyton Jones in 2017.

Awards of this calibre enhance the reputation of BCS, by association with such world class figures from our industry and ensure it continues to be a much sought after award.

The nomination process is now open.

Please complete the online nominee form and submit by 12 noon GMT on 23 June 2017.
