A Programmer’s Introduction The book delivers what it promises in its title. This is a real programmer's introduction to another language. It takes an experienced programmer through the wealth of the C# environment.

It provides a very good link to the .NET framework libraries and allows the reader to filter through the richness and the opportunities offered by the C# environment.

It can also act as a very good reference book for someone who has tried their hand at C#, have come across a specific problem and are seeking a quick solution and explanation to their problem.

The book comes along with an excellent supplement of source code online. The reader that is keen to explore the differences between C# and other languages is catered for in an excellent chapter towards the end of the book.

The final chapter provides a look at C# resources and is expected to come in the future.

Overall this is an excellent book and an ideal purchase for all professional developers.
