BCS Health
BCS Health was formed to cover all aspects of informatics in support of health, a sector of particular relevance and importance to BCS.
The forum provides leadership in this sector, acting as a source of professionally recognised expertise, under-pinning the outward-facing role of BCS, and ensuring that contributors to Health Informatics are recognised and respected.

- The PHCSG John Perry Prize this year was presented to Dr Mary Hawking at the Group AGM and annual conference held at Crewe Hall Hotel on Friday 25 September.
- Professor Matthew Swindells was confirmed as BCS Health Chair on 29 October 2009.

Medinfo 2010 Cape Town
Cape Town, South Africa will host the 13th International Congress on Medical Informatics from the 12-15 of September 2010. This conference is run by the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) and BCS appoints the UK representative to IMIA. BCS Health is able to support those who have papers or activities accepted, application form.
