CMSG Conference 2015

Call for Speakers

Configuration Management Specialist Group will hold their summer conference 9 June 2015 at the BCS offices in Covent Garden, London.

We’re looking for speakers / presenters who are willing to stand up in front of their peers and tell us their thoughts in the following areas:

  • Thought Leadership
  • User Stories / Case Studies
  • Area Expertise

Thought Leadership:

Where are we going? What are the key trends and changes going on that we need to be aware of? Are you developing new techniques or areas of interest? How is Config Management, SAM or Transition evolving?

If you think you know the answers or can provide insight, why not speak at the Configuration Management conference and share with our group of professionals.

Send us an email along with a bit about yourself, and we’ll get in touch to talk it over.

User Stories / Case Studies:

Do you have a recent success you’d like to shout about? You would be amazed at the number of people out there who are keen to hear about it! And they are not just interested in the view from the top of the mountain, but also about the challenges you faced in climbing that mountain and how you overcame them.

Speaking at our small, friendly conference, full of professionals all facing the same issues, can be a great way to take some time to reflect on your experiences, build your profile both within and outside your organisation, and expand your professional network.

If you have a SAM or Config Management story to tell, send us an email to tell us about it, along with a bit about yourself, and we’ll get in touch to talk it over.

Area Expertise:

Are you a expert in implementing Processes? Do you know how to embed Change, Config or SAM into the culture of an organization? Can you help build a better CMDB or do you have experience implementing continuous delivery?

Speaking at our conference, full of engaged professionals, can be a great way to both showcase your ideas and challenge them.

If you have a topic you would like to speak about, please send us an email to tell us about it, along with a bit about yourself, and we’ll get in touch to talk it over.
