BCS is an assessment organisation for digital standards and we're currently offering apprenticeship standards for end-point assessment. As demand has grown we are now increasing our assessor pool to meet market demand and the following specialisms are now required:

  • Infrastructure Technician
  • Network Engineer
  • Unified Communications Trouble-shooter
  • IT Technical Sales Person
  • Software Developer
  • Software Development Technician
  • Software Tester
  • Data Analyst
  • Digital Marketing
  • Business Analysis
  • Cyber Security

We're now urgently recruiting for a number of paid and contracted Independent Apprenticeship Assessors to support us in fulfilling our role.

As an Assessor, you'll be required to use your up to date subject matter expertise to review the content and quality of an apprentice’s synoptic project, summative portfolio and use your professional judgement to grade against pre-defined assessment criteria.

You'll be conducting the final interviews via webinar, so you'll be expected to rely on your ability to question and listen while keeping candidates at ease. To evaluate apprentice’s competency, you’ll need to have up-to-date, relevant industry experience. For example, to assess Software Developers you'll be required to have experience coding in a commercial environment.

Those who meet the criteria will be offered training and be mentored through the assessor process before they are able to assess on their own.
