After the runaway success of last year’s event, Birmingham City University is pleased to announce that it will be hosting Innovation Fest 2015. This exciting festival of talent is aimed at supporting technically-oriented entrepreneurship and will showcase the innovations of our students across a range of subjects.

The School of Computing, Telecommunications and Networks will come together to exhibit their own computer systems technology concepts, bringing to life their innovative ideas.

The event will also demonstrate the work of entrepreneurs supported through the Lila project; an EU initiative aimed at digital and green start-ups who are looking to take their profile and success to the next level by showcasing themselves and their products to an international audience.

The exhibition is being designed in partnership with the Birmingham City University Lila project team and the Innovation Mentors project team, which is part the Partners for Success programme that facilitates high impact educational practice across the University.

Innovation Fest marks the high achievement of our students in what is shaping up to be an engaging and event-full year for the School of Computing, Telecommunication and Networks. Join us with our professional bodies and industry partners for this inspiring festival, complete with keynotes speeches from guest speakers, Innovation Fest Prizes, and a buffet to conclude the event.
