Event description:

The seemingly inexorable rise in the use of social media is leading to a drastic change in the way people and organisations communicate. Many of these changes are clearly regarded as beneficial by those who use social media but the risks and disadvantages are often overlooked until it is too late. Simon Langley will talk about some of the key risks in respect of the use of social media by individuals and organisations and will discuss some of the approaches to mitigating these risks.

Simon Langley runs PwC’s Cybersecurity practice in the North of England splitting his time between Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle. Simon also leads PwC’s PCI practice nationally and is PwC’s lead QSA.

Drinks and a light supper will be available from 6 with the main event kicking off at 6:30.

This event is kindly sponsored by PWC.
